What this calculator does
The draconic zodiac measures longitude from the Moon's mean ascending node rather than the vernal equinox. Each draconic position equals the tropical position minus the node's longitude, normalised to 0–360°.
Because every body is shifted by the same amount, the angular distances between bodies do not change. The aspect pattern of the draconic chart is identical to the natal chart; only the sign and house placements move.
The node position uses the mean (not true) node, per the standard astronomical series. See methodology.
